Outsmart Osteoporosis with Movement Nature Meant!
Intelligent, springy, weight bearing movement is what our bones need to thrive. In these monthly 2.5 hour seminars, we will explore gentle movement exercises that stimulate your brain to train your body for good alignment, which in turn improves your posture, strengthens your muscles and protects your vulnerable joints. These classes allow you to learn movement that has meaning for your unique skeletal structure. Ruthy Alon, the founder, is 87 years old still skipping, jumping and living life fully.

Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais said that our actions (movements), thoughts, feelings and sensations are one pattern. More simply said, the way we do everyday actions, like sitting, walking and reaching are intimately intertwined with our mood, our beliefs about ourselves and how we relate to others and our environment in the world. These patterns, become habits and over time, habits that lead to pain leave us feeling stuck. The good news is, we can change our patterns. In this series of Awareness Through Movement classes we will explore how to notice differences, so that we can have a choice. Once we have a choice we can learn to move, think, sense, and feel in new ways. Join us to see if together we can’t change something about your story.
