HOW WE TAKE IN THE WORLD….
and what is happening all around us makes an impression within. How we present ourselves and respond to our environment is modulated through our nervous system. Our body-mind. Our mind-body. These are not two separate systems but a complex whole that is in perpetual evolution. Our thinking, sensing, feeling and acting are an inseparable, evolving, dynamic system.
Let’s wake up our sensory acuity so that we might develop responsive ways of rebounding from life’s up and downs.
Are you feeling stuck?
Are you frozen not knowing what to do, or anxiously in perpetual motion of urgently just doing something?
Are you straining to see another way? Or efforting to fix a problem?
Are you collapsing under the burdens of facing a more and more challenging world?
Do you find that you never have enough time even to do the things you enjoy?
What if slowing down and tuning in could provide us with more spaciousness and choice? Learning to be present with curiosity toward discovery and reinventing ourselves to be adaptable to the moment is how we find our center and potency on this adventure called life!
Throughout this 15-day challenge, we invite you to explore the enriching principles of the Feldenkrais Method, focusing on cultivating a deep sense of inner resilience, choice, and groundedness in the face of life’s adventures. Each day, participants will embark on a guided movement journey designed to reconnect with their innate potency and ability to choose options that promote a centered and authentic existence.
Let’s explore ways to better organize the carriage of our head over a responsive and agile body so that life’s stresses, both joyful and troubling, can be absorbed and adjusted to through an attuned and adept nervous system.
Join Kelly and Liz this January to evolve the quality of your life.
For 15 consecutive weekdays begin or end your day with a 30-45 min Awareness Through Movement Class in the comfort of your own home. Classes are live each morning and recordings are sent out following each class for you to explore again in the evening.
Habits of movement are developed over a life time and under stress older, less efficient habits reemerge. To make sustainable change, our nervous system needs consistent exposure to new sensations, new ideas and new options. Participating in an intensive, regular exploration of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lessons is an excellent way to experience the truly transformational potential this method has to create major changes in our selves, our thinking, our moving and our wellbeing.
We will need a minimum of 10 participants to hold this series of classes.

What do people say about the 15 days?
“I went into this thinking I would learn a thing or two, but never thought I would begin to really listen to my body and notice [the] habits causing [my] pain.… But, I did! I went skiing today and noticed how I move – I’ve never done that before! I noticed how stiff one side of my body is and [now I] know [how to] begin to work on making that [better] and moving with more ease. I want to continue to focus on how….to move into a more satisfying way of being…. I looked forward to the new exploration [each day]…. And, how such a small ‘project’ can have a big impact.”
Lydia, saddled with a bum knee for the past 25 years
“The most impactful thing for me is that I am beginning to learn to stay in the curiosity…. As a recovering perfectionist, I’m trying not to have dualistic thinking……To realize that every part of me is just fine, and when I embrace that…..I move with greater ease. The [15 Day Challenge] also helped me increase my awareness of my breath, jaw, throat, and eyes. I used to always blame my back or shoulder for tightening, but I’ve come to realize [I have] other spots that hold onto rigidity. Especially my throat, which surprised me. Thanks for a great challenge! My nervous system thanks you!”
Kim , healing from being diagnosed with MS more than 20 years ago
“Almost from the start, I noticed my body felt more ‘awake’ and alive following the lesson. I have more energy all day long.”
“I have participated in weekly, as well as, private lessons and have found… [this 15 day challenge] provided the opportunity for more insightful daily study. It was more akin to reading a novel rather than a short story.”
CV, Feldenkrais student
“This [15 Day Challenge] taught me to think differently, to consider other ways of viewing my body and, to a broader extent, the world!” Andee
